The Stone Roofing
Association was formed in 1998 as the trade association for manufactures
of sandstone and limestone roofing products. It is a point of contact for
architects, specifiers and contractors with the industry and a source of
advice on selection and sourcing of stone-slates. Advice can often be provided
on regional and local architectural details of stone roofs and how these
fit with architectural conservation policy. Individual members can provide
help in locating roofing contractors in their regions. Some members are
themselves roofing contractors.
